DESCRIPTION:NOTICE OF DATE OF BOARD OF DIRECTOR ELECTION OF THE \nCARLTON HOUSE MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION, INC. \nAND PROCEDURE FOR QUALIFYING FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS\nTO ALL MEMBERS:\nOn Tuesday, February 13th, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. in the Lobby at 2701 South Ocean Boulevard, Highland Beach, Florida and via Zoom, the Annual Meeting of the Corporation will be held for the purpose of electing five (5) Directors, and such other business as may lawfully be conducted.  Subsequent to this “NOTICE OF DATE OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTION”, you will receive a “NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING” which Notice will specify the agenda and advise of other important information concerning the Annual Meeting.\nThe purpose of this Notice is to advise you of the date, time and place of the Election and to inform you of the process for qualifying for the Board of Directors.\nQUALIFYING FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS\nAt least forty (40) days prior to the date of the election (on or before January 4th, 2024), you must give written notice to the Association of your desire to run for the Board of Directors, addressed to the Association’s mailing address:  2701 South Ocean Boulevard, Highland Beach, Florida 33487.  Written notice shall be accomplished in accordance with one or more of the following methods:\n\nBy certified mail. Return receipt requested, directed to the Association.\nBy Email\n\n(c)  By personal delivery to the Association; or\n(d)  By regular U.S. Mail, facsimile, telegram, or other method of delivery to the\nAssociation.\nThe attached “Notice of Intent to be a Candidate for the Board of Directors” may be used for that purpose.\nYou may submit an Information Sheet, one-sided, and no larger than 8-1/2 inches by 11 inches, containing your qualifications and/or platform for office.  This Information Sheet must be submitted to the Association at least thirty-five (35) days prior to the date of the election (on or before January 9th, 2024).\nThe Information Sheet and ballots will be mailed to voting members, with the Notice of the Annual Meeting, not less than fourteen (14) days prior to the date of the Annual Meeting.\n
